SPEAKO App Terms and Conditions


These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern your use of the "Speako" mobile application ("App") provided by Speako ("Company," "we," or "us"). By using the App, you ("User" or "you") agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.


1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree with any of the terms and conditions, please refrain from using the App.


2. Purpose of the App
Speako App is designed to provide voice-activated games and exercises aimed at assisting children above 6 years old in treating stuttering. The exercises are intended to improve speech fluency and enhance overall communication skills.


3. User Requirements

  1. Age Limit: The App is intended for use by individuals above 6 years old. Children under the age of 13 must have parental or guardian consent to use the App. By visiting or using the app or accepting these Terms of Use, you represent and warrant to the Company that you have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and that you have the right, authority, and capacity to agree to and abide by these Terms of Use.

  2. Medical Consultation: The App is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Users are encouraged to consult with qualified healthcare professionals such as Speech therapist before initiating any exercises or treatments provided by the App.

  3. In no event will Speako be liable for any direct or indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits or other damages whatsoever arising in connection with the use of the app or site or the Content or other information that Third Party Providers may provide, any interruption in availability of the app or site, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus, loss of data, or use, misuse, reliance, review, manipulation or other utilization in any manner whatsoever of the Site or the Content.


4. Intellectual Property

  1. Ownership: The materials found on the Site are protected by United States, Israel and other copyright laws unless otherwise noted. The selection, arrangement, and presentation of all materials (including information in the public domain), and the overall design of the app and site are copyright © Speako; all rights reserved. Permission is granted to view and print materials from the Site for the non-commercial purpose of viewing, reading, and retaining for reference. Any other copying, distribution, retransmission or modification of information or materials on the app and site, whether in electronic or hard copy form, without the express prior written permission of the Company, is strictly prohibited. Speako and other trademarks and/or service marks (including logos and designs) found on the Site are trademarks/service marks that identify the Company and the goods and/or services that they provide. Such marks may not be used under any circumstances without the prior written authorization of the Company. No person is authorized to use, copy, or distribute any portion the Site including related graphics.a.

  2. User Content: Users may submit or generate content while using the App. By doing so, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute the user-generated content for the purposes of providing and improving the App.

  3. Outsourced Assets: Any art or graphic content obtained from Freepik.com is subject to the terms and conditions set forth by www.Freepik.com. Users may utilize the art obtained from Freepik.com solely for the purposes explicitly permitted by Freepik's licensing terms, and any unauthorized use or distribution of such art is strictly prohibited.


5. Privacy

  1. Data Collection: The App may collect and store certain personal information as outlined in the Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy. We act accordingly to the privacy policies noted in EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) & Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule ("COPPA").   2. Security: We employ industry-standard measures to protect user data; however, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. The Company cannot guarantee the absolute security of user data.


6. Limitation of Liability

  1. Disclaimer: The Company does not warrant or guarantee the effectiveness, accuracy, or completeness of the App's content or its impact on stuttering treatment. The App is provided on an "as is" basis, and the Company disclaims all warranties, whether expressed or implied, including but not limited to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

  2. Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the App, violation of this Agreement, or infringement of any third-party rights.


7. Modification and Termination

  1. Changes to the Agreement: The Company reserves the right to modify or update this Agreement at any time without prior notice. By continuing to use the App, you agree to be bound by the revised terms and conditions. These Terms of Use were last updated on June 25th 2023.

  2. Termination: The Company may suspend or terminate your access to the App at its discretion, without prior notice or liability.


8. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Israel. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Israel.
